About Us

Object Theory is built on the belief that objects carry memory, meaning, and cultural continuity. Originating in Indian art, craft, and lived traditions, each piece reflects a cohesive design philosophy where narrative and emotion come together. We approach craft as a living intelligence reinterpreted through a sacred lens and shaped through close collaboration with artisans.

Our work moves beyond products where every object becomes part of a larger story. Through this, Object Theory becomes a space for preservation and propagation where culture is experienced, and objects invite a deeper more reflective way of seeing.

Made & Found in India

We draw from the many Indias, from temple motifs to everyday tools, from ancient forms to forgotten patterns, and shape them into objects that speak to both heritage and modernity.

Each object is thoughtfully made to be lived with, not just admired.

Our Founder

While studying Art History in London, I was surrounded by modern masters- Monet’s softness, Van Gogh’s intensity, Kusama’s infinity. Museums celebrated expression, yet something felt missing: rootedness. The quiet continuity of heritage stories passed through hands across generations. This thought drew me closer to the communities preserving them. In their practice, I found the seed for Object Theory.

A practice of remembering the land I came from and the wisdom it holds is the crux of the work I do. Each piece carries a story, symbol, and soul bringing India into contemporary spaces, as something to be lived with. It’s a way of taking India home, no matter where in the world home maybe.
